The story
Professor Layton – a famous archaeologist, a talented detective with the ability to solve mysteries. One day, a strange letter was sent to the house of Professor Layton. Gameplay
Layton: Unwound Future in HD is built with gameplay similar to the previous two versions in the series. The game mainly focuses on a series of standalone brainteaser-style puzzles. Simply understand, you will move from scene to scene, chat with the characters, touch the stylus to explore the surroundings. The last game will provide you with a toy car and your task is to solve the race-based puzzles. They seem quite complicated, but completing each level in the game, you will a lot of rewards.
And from what I’ve experienced, the last game is the most challenging. There are some puzzles that are very difficult, causing you to use your thinking more while lacking suggestions. The second game is very entertaining and fun. But the first game was a bit dull, making me feel like the developer didn’t give it much attention.
Besides the minigames, Layton: Unwound Future in HD has added several new options in each puzzle. If you encounter a difficult challenge, even using help and still cannot think of a solution, this is the solution for you, because you only need to spend 2 gold coins to unlock a superpower.
