Once upon a time, dinosaurs were the creatures that ruled the Earth. Although their time has ended after the extermination battle in the past, they still haunt and become the inspiration for our generations.
We didn’t know (and never had a chance to really know) how dinosaurs were so wild, scary, and fierce. But in the eyes of filmmakers, authors, or game makers, wherever they are, the lands will shake and other creatures will run away. When I played the game Jurassic Monster World, I still doubted whether all the dinosaurs could turn out to be just a bunch of robots controlled by humans or not.
Honestly, one of my childhood dreams was to fight dinosaurs, especially the cute little ones like in cartoons. The impression of dinosaurs in my eyes had changed a bit since I watched the legendary Jurassic movie. However, when I played this game, I really changed the way I think about dinosaurs. I was confused, scared, and pitiful for them at the same time. Humans always hunted them. It was clear that even without that terrible destruction, they would all be killed by humans sooner or later.
Anyways, let’s put those thoughts aside and talk about the game.
What makes Jurassic Monster World different?
You will be transported into an unknown world full of dinosaurs. Of course, you must be alive in this game to play. But the question here is how to survive. It really depends on your skills.
With some gentle dinosaurs who know how to listen and work hard, you can get to know them, give them some food, and then slowly tame them to be your soldiers. As for those who are aggressive and difficult to say, you have no choice but to fight till the end for your life.
Playing in Jurassic Monster World, you will cooperate with four teammates to fight five other enemies. The team that dies is the loser. There are many ways to win, so it is still best to have a light strategic agreement with allies before going into battle.
The winning team will receive the bounty of the “hunting”. The more points you have, the faster you can upgrade the dinosaur army in terms of health, speed, equipment, and weapons.
There are dozens of dinosaur strains to use or kill, but don’t worry too much because they have the same control and belong to the basic FPS line. You will get used to it quickly. On the left side of the screen is the button to move left and right, and on the right is the action and weapon activation.
Weapons and characters
I had played this game for 1 day, and then the next day, I was still surprised by the motto “work hard play hard” of the producers. Why would i say that?
Just when you are still confused and do not realize what age of the Earth you are in, everything suddenly appears. In Jurassic Monster World, anything is possible. There are all kinds of dinosaurs you can imagine. There are also all kinds of combat attacks that any abnormal person would think of. For example, you can ride flying dinosaurs armed with fierce guns in the sky to kill the bloodthirsty ones. If you don’t like it, you can ride a motor vehicle to shoot dinosaurs. Crazy stuff like that is all over in Jurassic Monster World. Do you guys still think it’s normal?
Moreover, there are three main groups of animals in Jurassic Monster World: Full Meta, Organic and Augmented. The Full Metas are genuine AI machines with full mechs. Now, are you amazed at the madness of this game? These robot dinosaurs are equipped with energy shields. If you have them, you won’t have to worry. To me, this group is the best.
Number two is a semi-biological machine called Augmented. This group has the advantages of fighting as powerful as a machine while moving smoothly and flexibly like some real animals. The downside is, of course, not as strong as the Full Metas.
The rest Organic are genuine dinosaurs which are ancient monsters from the Jurassic period that have evolved several levels to become powerful warriors to support you.
They are all present here. As for how to recruit, train or fight them, it’s still up to you to see how talented you are.
Graphics and sound
The game’s 3D world unfolds majestically, vividly, and magically. Honestly, if this game makes a movie, a lot of people will be ready to wait. The movements of the “sacred beasts” here must be said to be too eye-catching.They are huge, completely different in shape and each has its own forte. When I put on weapons and equipment for them, I was so stunned because of their beauty.
When you drive them to fight, the world there looks like it’s gonna collapse. The excitement of the visual and sound effects guys here is also pushed up to the next level.
They’re not just fighting in one place. You will be able to go through colorful tropical forests with giant plants and trees, and then evacuate through a snowy area like the Arctic. Never have I felt the importance of the surrounding context to such a powerful shooting. Changing the scene is completely changing the mood.
